Station 53/Squad 153 and Hopewell Valley Emergency Services Station 50/Squad 159 now use a web based software that is activated when a call for service is received. Members of the Union Fire Company & Rescue Squad will then call a 1-800 number given to our department by IAmResponding.com. Upon calling, responding members can choose up to 9 options  that alert personnel at the station who is responding and where they are responding too. Once calling, a screen displayed in our main bay displays when the member called, their estimated time to get to their location, where they are responding to, and their position.

It helps us know if we have to page additional personnel to get our rigs out in a more timely fashion. It also allows us to call mutual aid from our sister companies if its needed.

Above is a example on what our response screen looks like. A Video showing what IAmResponding.com does for as and you as a member of this angecy can be viewed here.
